Lamborghini Enters the World of Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs)

After a series of social media posts hinting at it, Italian supercar-maker Lamborghini has finally announced its first NFT (non-fungible token) project. The project is dubbed Space Key and developed in collaboration with an unknown artist and inspired by a piece advanced carbon fiber composite material that was sent to the International Space Station for research purposes.

Each of the five Space Keys features a different moment that occurs at different times when the Lamborghini Ultimae takes off towards the stars. Each of the five images was taken by photographer Fabian Oefner and contains over 600 million pixels.

Oefner utilized an inflatable camera fitted with lenses to capture the individual images, which were then assembled into the final photograph.
