The timeline varies, but here are some things happening in Waikiki during the second week of July. On Tuesday the 11th, just after 11:30 a.m., a hula lesson was being held at the Royal Grove.

Looking up at the Royal Hawaiian Tower.

At this time, scaly clouds were visible above the tower and the Coconut Grove.

Bright light was pouring over Ocean Lawn, but clouds were moving above.

The sky on the Sheraton side was covered with sweeping clouds,

and there were sparse clouds even high above Diamond Head. I thought it was rare to see clouds like this in Hawaii.

On the Kalakaua Avenue side, a banner was hung for the Princess Lot Hula Festival to be held on July 15th.

On another day, I went to Kuhio Avenue and took a look at Waikiki Market.

There were a variety of delicious looking items in the cases, including salads and desserts.

On the Kuhio Avenue side, there was a Made in Hawaii corner, with art by local artists and many other Hawaiian products lined up.

Behind it is the restaurant Olili. It opens from 4pm, and the atmosphere looks nice.

I returned to Kuhio Avenue and looked to the west. The clouds in Hawaii seem to change from time to time.

It was the second week of July, and I enjoyed a leisurely stroll around Waikiki
