Recently, I've been getting a lot of "unknown" calls on my smartphone.

It seems I can't block them.

I decided to answer them.

The caller was a certain online casino operator.

If I answered a one-minute survey, they would give me points.

When I refused, they said they'd give me points, so I should read their email.

I wondered if the survey was irrelevant (-_-;)

I don't play online casinos, so I block them.

I can't cancel my contract (it might be possible, but I couldn't find it easily), so I have no choice but to block them.

They seem to want me to play somehow.

Online casino operators use all sorts of methods to get people addicted to gambling.

Online casino operators have been featured on TV programs, where they've not only lost money, but even destroyed relationships.

Some people have committed robbery and murder, or taken on illegal part-time jobs, due to online casino debt.

People with weak wills should never get involved.

There's no problem if you just want to have a little fun with the points you earn and can quit.

Many people get addicted and can't quit.

I don't think I have a weak will, but when you can easily get more money than a month's salary at once, it makes me go crazy and I almost got stuck in the quagmire.

If it were so easy to quit, no one would go beyond getting into debt and even committing crimes.

Don't be fooled by point-earning blogs that say they're "safe," "secure," and "we'll support you."

They're nothing more than solicitations aimed at earning high referral fees.

Legal experts have pointed this out in the newspapers, but it's against the law to advertise "safety" and "security," including in FX.

People hoping for high rewards will lure you in with sweet words, but I think it's best not to do it.
