I watched BS-TBS's "Showa Kayo Best Ten DX" with Matsuzaka Yuki-san.

He sang "Gandhara," but I wanted to hear more.

(Of course I watched the full version that was broadcast before.)

Before the song, MC Tsutomu Sekine asked guest Midori Oka, "Gandhara was released in 1978, so did you know about it before you were born?" Oka said that it was a song that reminded her of the difficult time she had to go on a campaign when she first came to Tokyo. "Gandhara is a story about going to Tenjiku in Journey to the West, and we were trying our best to go to Tenjiku (Kohaku)!" After that introduction, I listened to Gandhara, and the lyrics just clicked... "They say that if you go there, all your dreams will come true" "Everyone wants to go, but it's a faraway place..."
