World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can boost the value of armors, weapons and rings. Upgrades also boost bonuses like Crit chance and PvE Damage.

If the weapon's upgrade template is in %, the weapon will increase 3percent of its previous damage every time it is upgraded.

Item upgrading costs crests and the current level of the item. The cost rises with item's level.

Components

Upgrade components can be added to weapons, armor and trinkets to give them a boost in stats or an extra effect. These can be obtained through crafting, purchasing from vendors trading, or looting. Certain upgrades come with special cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can only be used on devices that have slots. The item must be at least upgraded to a blue level before the component can be applied. Upgrade components, unlike other modifications, can only be applied only once. They cannot be replaced or applied several times. Infusions and enrichments are a specific kind of upgrade component that is that is used to upgrade non-amulet ascended or legendary equipment, as well as some of the non-ascended back items. Infusions and enrichments can be recovered by salvaging gear that is ascended or completing an elite task in the Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall campaigns.

A suffix or prefix can be added to an upgrade, which alters the name of the item it's applied to (for example 'Canthan Armor Insignia,' becomes Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). Certain upgrades can increase the Mark Level or Rarity of an item, allowing players create stronger versions with less upgrade item crystals than they require to achieve the same level with normal methods.

A boost upgrade can alter the defense or attack characteristics of a weapon or armor. These upgrades can be crafted from the Portative Forging Station once the player has completed the cutscene, and defeats the Crazed Mechanical. They can be dropped by enemies while upgrading other gear or purchasing them in the cash shop for 500 upgrade crystals each.

Each upgrade increases the likelihood that a better-quality version of the item will be revealed during the next reset. This gives players the opportunity to upgrade their gear, even in the event that they don't know what can be improved upon an update.

If a boost upgrade is successful or not, the process can be costly, and there is a significant possibility that the item will be obsolete or even break when it fails; a unsuccessful upgrade could ruin the Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder, as well as the upgraded item. This is reduced by the availability of cash shop items that increase or even eliminate the possibility of failure, and some upgrades that provide a bonus when reinserted into an item.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to improve the Paragon Board by placing them in sockets with special functions. Glyphs boost the effectiveness of all nodes in the area around them and include pre-existing affixes to equipment. Glyphs are upgraded in many ways. We suggest upgrading them as soon as possible up to 15 levels.

It is commonplace to see in the final game that placing Glyphs is a great way to upgrade your gear. They are the only upgrade components which can be upgraded to level 15 and provide significant boosts to your power on the Paragon Board.

The majority of upgrades in the game can be replaced, however Glyphs are the one upgrade component that can be removed and re-placed without restrictions. Only legendary equipment can be salvaged and replaced by using a Black Lion Salvage Kit.

Each Glyph has a certain range of values it can improve a statistic by, and the value is shown when you choose the Glyph in your inventory. You can decide to replace it with another Glyph with the same rank or higher rank, which will boost the overall value of the glyph.

Glyphs are available in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of the Gem Store bundle or purchase the glyphs with certain tools that allow unlimited use, and during Faction Crypt Raids. Every Faction Crypt will drop one of these Glyphs. There are some rare glyphs that you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.

Once you have obtained the desired Glyphs you will require them to be put on your gear. Each Glyph will unlock a unique bonus that boosts the stats of a specific set of nodes within a radius around the Glyph. Depending on the Glyph the bonus will be +40 to one of your primary stats, or +25 to two of your secondary stats.

Glyphs boost all nodes connected to them, which is why it is Best item upgrader to put Glyphs in key spots on the Graph. This will maximize the impact. For instance that a Druid should try to place their Glyphs near their primary damage nodes, but also be sure to place them near the most critical damage nodes as well.

Leveling

The item upgrading system allows players to improve the stats of specific items by putting upgraded components into them. This is referred to as "upping". Each upgradeable item upgrades has an amount that determines its upgraded stats. Upgraded items can be leveled up to a maximum level of 385 ilvl. Each level of item requires different components, and upgrade costs increase with each level.

Certain upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient is obtained from the completion of Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be purchased from NPCs or on the upgrade tab in a crafting table. Each Upgrade Recipe that is completed yields a certain number of Technology points. These points can be used to the upgrading of an item. When enough points have been earned you'll be eligible to claim the upgrade and also receive the bonuses.

When a player upgrades a piece of equipment, the base item is replaced by an item that is new. This means that the same armor piece will get the form of a shield or weapon when upgraded. The new item will also have its own set bonus. This could be a problem in that it could make the item more expensive, even if you don't require it.

If the player has enough tokens, they can roll the upgrade of their item. This will cause the item to be exchanged for a new one, which will have the level 1 base, and a totally different set of bonuses. This can be useful however it should not be used frequently as it can be a waste of resources.

Certain upgrades can increase their value and allow players to modify their equipment. One example is Dolphin's Gift, which gives an advantage when a player repeatedly enters and leaves the water (or is able to swim like dolphins). It can be upgraded multiple times, each time raising the maximum roll by 10 points. This item is extremely valuable in PvP. A properly rolled version can be worth as much as 50x the value of its non-upgraded version.

Requirements

Item upgrading allows players to upgrade the level of their equippable equipment--armor, weapons, and trinkets that are above ilvl 385 by providing the appropriate currency and items to an NPC who upgrades items. Upgrades to armor set pieces increase its base defense, while upgrades to weapon items boost their base damage as well as the required strength and dexterity.

Each item can be upgraded a maximum of five times, with the exception of hero gear that can be upgraded up to eight times. Every each time you upgrade an item upgrade it has the chance to fail. The failure rate increases the farther you go over the maximum amount of upgrades. Failures can cause the item to revert back to its original state, which will force the user to pay more for materials than they would had they stopped upgrading at the maximum number of upgrades.

If an item fails to upgrade the amount of experience in its growth bar is reset to zero. Additionally the item will be deducted any bonuses it gained such as crit chance and attack damage, and all other effects that are associated with that effect (for instance, an increase in heal over time or reload speed). However, the user can still continue to use the weapon or armor after the failure.

Whenever an item is upgraded the upgrades are applied from the lowest to the highest. This means that when a weapon is upgraded, if it increases its crit chance it will be applied prior to any attack damage increases. Slots is a new attribute that has been added to the definitions of items. The value is calculated each time an upgrade occurs.

The amount of resources required to upgrade an item is based on its rarity rating and upgrade slot count. The cost of upgrading non-premium products is equal to the base value of the upgrade--for instance, a standard equipment item might have 5 upgrades at a cost of 25,600 Technology Points and 4x Quality Improvement Chance--whereas hero grade items will come with a much lower cost for each upgrade.

Premium items have different requirements for upgrading in comparison to standard equipment. For instance, they may require fewer sowels, but they will require more minerals and erons. Whatever the case, players will have to visit the NPC [Armorthe ] Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they wish to upgrade. In addition to the upgrade item costs listed above, each upgrade will require the use of different ingredients needed to upgrade.
