The Best Double Buggy Strollers

Our tester found the auto-lock a little difficult to understand, and also because the handlebar does not lock into the position you push it into, it hit her leg when she was using it. She also felt the handlebar was a little on the short side, especially with a big changing bag hanging off of it.

The double stroller isn't as light as other travel buggies. It comes with a wide range of features, and is among the most versatile double strollers on the market. It's compatible with two carrycots (available separately) It also has several recline positions and comes with a UV 50+ canopy. You can even add a bassinet to one or both seats, and turn it into a travel system.

The four rubber composite tires are ideal for pavements and urban terrain. However, they are not designed for off-roading. They had trouble with gravel and long grass and there wasn't enough clearance between the wheel bracket and wheel which meant that mud could get stuck easily. However, our tester still loved riding this buggy, and it did get up to some beautiful dirt hills.

Our testers discovered that the Nipper Double is incredibly easy to navigate, even on bumpy terrain or when turning in an area with a lot of traffic. The fact that the seats can be reclined independently was hugely appreciated.

They also liked that the hoods were able to be moved forward and back, which made them easier to adjust in the sun or to provide wind protection. Our test subjects did notice however that they did not provide an extensive amount of coverage when compared to similar to the Baby Jogger City Mini hoods which is why it's recommended to bring a rain jacket in case of need.

Overall, our test participants loved the way that the Nipper Double allowed them to take their twins Sydney and Lyla on a variety of adventures, from spotting wildlife in the woods, to rush to the park for a quick playdate. Our testers were also amazed by how comfortable and spacious the two seats are. There is plenty of room for growing toddlers. Our testers did note, however, that the absence of parent-facing seating and inability to use car seats with this buggy was a drawback and they would like to have more storage space to store shopping items and other accessories.
